South Shore Waldorf School
Education of the head, heart and hands for children from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The Waldorf curriculum promotes well-rounded development in children by exposing them to a wide variety of subjects using an interdisciplinary approach that complements the students’ natural abilities. Waldorf education allows for a meaningful learning process by engaging the whole child. The children develop their thinking and feeling, and a sense of purpose. This is the only Waldorf school in Nova Scotia. Wee Giant Theatre plays an active role in the school's annual May Fair, and organizes the Summer Arts program. Monika Wildemann also acts as a substitute teacher at the school.

DRUMLIN
DRUMLIN is a remarkable contemporary roots band from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. These spirited siblings are classically trained musicians who turn heads performing a cutting edge fusion of traditional and modern music. They have been performing together for years. An original DRUMLIN sound, magnetic harmonies, and a captivating stage presence give this riveting young band an unforgettable musical presence which heartens the audience and celebrates life. DRUMLIN has performed at weddings, wakes, conventions, parties, restaurants, pubs, cabarets, schools, universities, museums, theatres, and festivals on both coasts of Canada. Wee Giant Theatre has had the great pleasure of working with these amazing young people.

Expressions New Media Festival
To take place April 11th and 12th, 2008, Expressions is a showcase of film, video, animation and video games created by Nova Scotia youth. Great workshops, including one by Wee Giant Theatre!

JazzEast
Atlantic Canada’s largest music festival with over 450 local, national and international performers delighting audiences for ten days every summer. Music lovers from across the region, across the country and across the border enjoy countless top quality act. Wee Giant Theatre has performed for four consecutive years, adding excitement to the opening of the Jazz Festival often accompanied by Samba Nova Halifax’s Brazilian Drumming band.

SAMBA NOVA is a 15–25 piece Halifax percussion group performing in the Carnival Samba Batucada Brazilian tradition. Energy, passion and fun are the trademarks of this group. It’s an excellent reflection of the growing interest in World Beat music and percussion in the Maritimes.

Mahone Bay Centre
The Mahone Bay Centre is a community centre housed in the historic old schoolhouse in the beautiful seaside town of Mahone Bay. The Centre is home to a thriving arts and cultural community. It offers artists’ studios, educational events, fitness, dance, yoga, meditation and other programs and services to the people who live in, work in and visit the area.

Little Foot Yurts
Little Foot Yurts is a small family-run rental and sales business of traditional style yurts. They provide a unique and environmentally sustainable alternative to vinyl sided wall tents. Yurts are the traditional nomadic home from Central Asia. These elegant, circular, wood framed structures hold a special magic and fascination, perfect for a distinctive, memorable event such as a wedding, festival, or community gathering.

The Ross Creek Centre for the Arts
The Ross Creek Centre for the Arts is a unique institution in Canada, bringing together the best in arts education for youth with community and professional arts programs. It is a research and development Centre for the arts of all disciplines and cultures and is proud to help facilitate the development of new art from around the world in wonderful facilities on a spectacular farm in rural Nova Scotia. Over the years, Wee Giant Theatre has taught at the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts and performed and conducted workshops at their annual summer picnic.

Deep Roots Music Festival
An annual September event enjoyed by music lovers of all ages. With the picturesque university town of Wolfville and its beautiful natural surroundings as the backdrop, the Canadian Deep Roots Music Festival brings together some of the finest folk and roots singers, songwriters and musicians in the world for a weekend of concerts, workshops and celebration. Wee Giant Theatre is pleased to participate in this wonderful event.
